The dates for the 2023 Autumn term are: October 14th, November 4th and December 2nd.
What is a “Do your own thing day”?
It is what is says on the tin! It’s a day when you get get together with like minded people, have a table (or two) to yourself and do whatever you feel like doing with a craft you enjoy.

It is held at Astbury village hall one Saturday each month from 10am to 4 pm. Members of the group book a place while attending the Beartown Patchwork and Quilting group meeting and pay the £8 non refundable fee. They come along with machines, fabric, patterns and anything else they would like to make and get stuck in!
Astbury village hall is quite spacious, having a main hall and 2 other smaller rooms plus a kitchen.

Irons are available. There are always others to ask for advice, tips and provide inspiration and ideas.

You bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. You do as much or as little as you like!
It’s a great day just to be able to relax with your hobby with friends.
