British Quilt and Stitch Village is at Uttoxeter racecourse 25th, 26th and 27th April 2025

Definitely worth going to – beautiful quilts, amazing embroidery exhibits, lots of traders and demonstrations, a choice of workshops. Plus free parking, food places.

This year’s competition has the theme “A Grand Day Out”…

Quilts UK Malvern (Spring) takes place 15th – 18th May 2025 at the three Counties Showground

And of course The Festival of Quilts at the NEC from 31st July to 3rd August 2025

Other local patchwork and quilting groups..

Sandbach Sew and Sews who meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Sandbach library at 7.30pm.Predominately patchwork and quilting but encourages all textile crafts.

Staffordshire Patchwork and Quilters , abbreviated to StaffsPQ, meet once a month, usually on the first Thursday from 6.45 to 9.30pm in Christ Church Hall, Stone. Their website https://staffspq.co.uk/ is very informative and says “SPQ are a friendly and inclusive group with a shared passion for patchwork, quilting, textile art and much more”.
