2025 postcard challenge

At the 22nd October 2024 meeting we had various demonstrations. Christine Davidson and Anne Carter showed us two techniques on how to sandwich a quilt.

And Mary Taylor stood in for Janet W to show us how to create a postcard, that can be posted for the 2025 challenge.

  • 1. Add batting to background material. Then add your design and quilt/applique
  • 2. Add a stiffener and double sided tape …
  • 3. and fold over edges
  • 4. Stick on your postcard
  • 5. Keep together by stitching, zigzaging or use binding

The theme is to be Countries. Each participant will be given 12 names, and will send one card per month.

July – Jamaica

August – Japan

September – Wales
