Members have been given a 10” square of a beautiful ruby coloured material and they have to make it into a 12” hanging, using all or most of the fabric, with sleeve and binding or edging of choice. Other colours can be added and any patchwork/quilting/sewing techniques used. The prompt was Ruby as in 40th anniversary, precious stone, name etc
So far two people have brought in their finished works. One had lovely appliqued ruby flowers, the other an appliqued picture of a lady wearing a ruby hat. What else will appear…..
